Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded sprintf
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Stack overflow in Tenda AC15 15.03.05.19 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite stack memory through a crafted POST request. In formSetCfm at /goform/setcfm, sub_2BA8C uses sprintf to place attacker-controlled funcpara1 in a fixed 64-byte stack array without a bound. The authenticated request reaches the vulnerable handler; the published artifact demonstrates the overflow trigger but does not establish code execution.
