Privilege escalation and SQL injection via DataHandler bypass
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Missing authorization in TYPO3 CMS 14.0.0 through 14.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary form configurations. DataHandler accepts direct creates, updates, and deletes to form_definition without the Form Framework's persistence checks or an invocation-bound authorization token. A backend account with write access to that table is required; crafted configurations restore SQL injection and privilege-escalation paths.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
