Authenticated memory corruption via oversized Time parameter
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC7 15.03.06.44 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a crafted Time parameter. The fromSetSysTime function processes the Time argument without constraining it to the destination stack buffer, producing an out-of-bounds write. A valid low-privilege session and network access to the SetSysTimeCfg management endpoint are required, and successful exploitation can compromise the router.
