Authenticated signature forgery via invitation IDOR
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Improper access control in Foxit eSign before 2026-03-26 allows remote authenticated users to access or alter other users' signing resources. The signing invitation acceptance process trusts user-supplied object identifiers without confirming that the requester is the intended recipient. A low-privileged account can cross the invitation authorization boundary without user interaction, exposing documents and enabling forged signatures.
