Device metadata disclosure via unvalidated bearer token
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Improper authentication in Beyond Cloud Ltd Cosmos Server 0.22.18 allows remote attackers to read Constellation device metadata. The public-devices handler accepts any non-empty Authorization header, strips the Bearer prefix without validating the token, and omits it from the device query. Exploitation requires the Constellation/VPN feature to be enabled with a non-blocked, visible device; disclosed data includes device and user names, internal IPs, roles, hostnames, and ports.
