Improper authentication in authentik before 2025.12.6, 2026.2.4, and 2026.5.1 allows remote authenticated users to assume any account. The UserSourceConnectionSerializer and GroupSourceConnectionSerializer leave the user and group identity fields writable through the API. Exploitation requires an account in a configured source plus add or change permission on a source-connection object; the resulting mapping permits authentication as the victim.
