CVE-2026-49411Public exploit

Network restriction bypass via numeric hostname aliases

Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026

Improper access control in Deno before 2.8.0 allows local users to reach denied IP addresses through the Node.js compatibility TCP path. TCPWrap checks --deny-net against the original host string but does not repeat the check after resolution, so numeric IPv4 aliases evade the denied-address match. Exploitation requires code execution inside a Deno process configured with --deny-net and an options-form node:net or node:http call; the primitive only reaches the protected endpoint.
