Read-only privilege bypass for modifications and deployments
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Incorrect authorization in IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter and deploy configurations. IBM has not disclosed the affected endpoint or authorization check; the product accepts modification and deployment operations from read-only accounts. The same flaw affects IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.1 and both products' container editions, allowing read-only users to exceed assigned permissions without reported confidentiality or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.0 <=10.0.9.1
