SSRF and file disclosure via unrestricted URL schemes
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
SSRF and local file disclosure in Pontedilana PhpWeasyPrint before 2.6.0 allow remote authenticated users to read server-side data. Pdf::handleArrayOptions passes attachment values accepted by isOptionUrl directly to file_get_contents without restricting their URL schemes, then embeds the fetched bytes in the PDF. Exploitation requires control of an attachment option and exposes internal HTTP responses or local files readable by the PHP process.
