CVE-2026-49358Public exploit

Arbitrary file deletion via unsafe shutdown cleanup

Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026

Path control in Pontedilana PhpWeasyPrint before 2.6.0 allows local users to delete files through generator shutdown cleanup. AbstractGenerator::removeTemporaryFiles() passes every public $temporaryFiles entry to unlink() without confirming containment in the temporary folder. Exploitation requires code able to modify the generator instance in the same request and deletes only files accessible to the PHP process user.
