Private work package disclosure via agenda-item IDOR
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Authorization bypass in OpenProject before 17.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to read private work package data via the agenda-item API. The single-item representer exposes its associated_resource work-package link without enforcing visibility in the linked work package's project. A low-privileged account must request an agenda item linked to a private or otherwise inaccessible project; the reported consequence is disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
