Database disclosure via unparameterized poll answer query
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
SQL injection in OttoKit's WP-Polls integration before 1.1.23 allows remote attackers to read database data through crafted poll votes. The trigger listener interpolates comma-separated answer IDs directly into an SQL IN() clause without parameterization. Exploitation requires WP-Polls and an active public poll, but no OttoKit account; blind timing queries can disclose WordPress database contents.
