Ticket-service exhaustion via unlimited channel creation

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

Resource exhaustion in Vantern Quest Bot before 1.1.8 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt ticket service via repeated ticket creation. The create-ticket button handler and createTicket helper create a database record and Discord text channel without checking for an existing guild-and-user ticket or enforcing a cooldown. Access to a configured ticket panel and channel-creation permission for the bot are required; repetition can exhaust guild channel limits and disrupt support workflows.
