CVE-2026-49324

Permanent immobilization via unauthenticated lockout counter

Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026

Resource consumption in the WCM of Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber Limited +Tech 2025 allows attackers to immobilize the motorcycle. The immobilizer authentication algorithm increments a global, unauthenticated brute-force lockout counter that lacks session binding and persists across power cycles. Physically proximate attackers with write access to the in-vehicle network can trip the counter with a few crafted frames, preventing engine start until dealer service.
