Unlock PIN recovery via noncryptographic challenge response

Weak authentication in Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber Limited +Tech 2025 allows physically proximate attackers to recover the unlock PIN. The Infotainment Digital Round display uses a noncryptographic operation for its WCM challenge response, making the PIN derivable from one captured exchange. Read access to the in-vehicle network and passive observation of one authentication exchange are required; the recovered PIN defeats the motorcycle's primary user-authentication control.
