CVE-2026-49306

Availability impact via time module UAF

Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026

Use-after-free in the time and time zone module in Huawei HarmonyOS 6.1.0 allows attackers to affect availability via unspecified vectors. The published record identifies the locus only as the time and time zone module and discloses that code in that module accesses memory after it has been freed, but it does not name the vulnerable function, trigger, or reachable interface. Because Huawei published only an availability impact, triage depends on whether HarmonyOS 6.1.0 devices expose that module to untrusted local code or other attacker-controlled inputs.
