CVE-2026-49303

Local service interrupt via notification permission flaw

Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026

Improper authorization in Huawei EMUI and HarmonyOS notification handling allows local users to interrupt service via unspecified vectors. Huawei has disclosed only that the notification module contains a permission-control flaw; no public advisory, CVE record, or patch identifies the code path or the unauthorized action exposed to untrusted callers. Reachability is limited to local access with no privileges or user interaction, and the disclosed impact is bounded to low-integrity changes and availability loss rather than code execution or data disclosure.
