CVE-2026-4930

Key extraction via forced low-entropy DPA seeds

Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026

Insufficient entropy in the SiXG301 SYMCRYPTO engine in Silicon Labs Simplicity SDK allows physically proximate attackers to extract keys. The engine accepts attacker-forced seed values that reduce the entropy of its differential power analysis countermeasures. Exploitation requires code execution on the impacted device and physical access for DPA measurements; exposed keys can undermine device cryptography.
