OS command injection in affected MariaDB Server releases allows remote attackers to execute shell commands through Galera. The notification path interpolates peer-supplied wsrep_node_name and wsrep_node_incoming_address values into a command line without validation. Exploitation requires Galera clustering and wsrep_notify_cmd to be enabled; a joining node executes commands with the MariaDB service account's privileges.
