CVE-2026-49260Public exploit

Command execution via unescaped configurable binary path

Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026

OS command injection in Pontedilana PhpWeasyPrint before 2.5.1 allows local users to execute commands via a configurable binary path. AbstractGenerator::buildCommand and the Pdf override test the shell-quoted path with is_executable, then pass the raw path to Process::fromShellCommandline when that check fails. Exploitation requires control of the constructor or setBinary value, and injected commands run as the PHP process user on POSIX systems.
