CVE-2026-49245Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Stored XSS via inline download parameter

Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

Stored XSS in SFTPGo before 2.7.3 allows attackers to execute script in a victim's browser via crafted file-download links. The inline query parameter in browsable-share and authenticated user file-download handlers suppresses Content-Disposition attachment, so attacker-supplied HTML stored in a share or home directory is returned as text/html in the SFTPGo web origin. Exploitation requires the attacker to place the file and send a victim a crafted link that the WebClient does not generate, so reachability is typically limited to public shares or shared folders and depends on social engineering.
