Post-disablement access via stale session tokens
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026
Insufficient session expiration in Actual before 26.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to retain access after account disablement. The shared session validator accepts any unexpired token row without joining the associated user record or checking its enabled state. OpenID multi-user mode and an unexpired pre-disablement token are required; default never-expiring tokens preserve access to owned and shared budgets.
