Cross-tenant review access via unchecked review ID
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Authorization bypass in Vvveb before 1.0.8.4 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify other Vendors' product reviews. The backend review handlers in admin/sql/sqlite/product_review.sql trust a caller-supplied product_review_id and perform read, update, and delete queries without checking that the review's parent product belongs to the current admin_id. Vendor-level access is required, but any Vendor who can obtain another Vendor's review identifier can view pending review details, change moderation status, edit content, or delete reviews.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
