Business-logic bypass via permissive relative-date parsing
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Improper input validation in Symfony UX Live Component allows remote attackers to bypass time-based business logic via crafted LiveProp values. LiveComponentHydrator::hydrateObjectValue() passes a client-supplied value to the permissive DateTime constructor when a writable DateTimeInterface LiveProp has no explicit format. Exploitation requires that deployment pattern and lets the attacker move the property to an arbitrary time, affecting only logic that trusts the date value.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 2.8.0, < 2.36.0
