Unauthenticated eSIM profile manipulation via unchecked authorization
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Improper authentication in Acer Connect M6E firmware M6E_AI_1.00.000019 and earlier allows remote attackers to rewrite or delete eSIM profiles. Cellular eSIM allocation management API endpoints process profile-changing requests without validating caller authorization. Network reachability to those endpoints is sufficient; exploitation can alter or remove cellular provisioning profiles.
