Command injection in Acer Predator Connect W6x firmware W6x_GBL_2.00.000005 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code as root via MQTT. The router's MQTT broker processing logic handles attacker-controlled message strings without adequate payload sanitization, allowing command elements to reach operating-system execution. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants root control of the router.
