Shell access via SCREEN_CLICK login bypass
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Improper authentication in Acer Connect M6E 5G Mobile WiFi firmware through M6E_AI_1.00.000019 allows remote authenticated users to open a shell. The SCREEN_CLICK(5053) debugging routine accepts a connection while bypassing the standard device login prompt and enters an interactive shell directly. Low-privileged network access is required; successful use grants shell-level control over device data, configuration, and availability.
