Cross-tenant contact access via unchecked contact ID
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in WACRM before commit 73041bf allows remote authenticated users to read and modify other tenants' contacts. POST /api/automations/engine accepts a caller-supplied contact_id without verifying account ownership, then uses a service-role Supabase client that bypasses row-level security. A valid account and a known foreign contact UUID are required; automation steps can change name, email, company, or tags and read contact fields.
