Authenticated SSRF via automatic redirect following
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
SSRF in nanobot web_fetch before 0.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal hosts through crafted redirects. The tool validates the starting URL, but httpx follows each 3xx Location before the private-address check is applied to the resolved target. Access to a configured path that invokes web_fetch with an attacker-chosen URL is required; the result is unauthorized internal requests and disclosure of returned response data.
