CVE-2026-49120Network attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via arbitrary rest-hook URLs

Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026

Server-side request forgery in Medplum before 5.1.14 allows remote authenticated users to trigger rest-hook POST requests to arbitrary URLs. The subscription worker passes each user-controlled channel endpoint to fetch and sends the complete triggering FHIR resource as the request body without first enforcing an HTTPS scheme. Permission to create a Subscription is required; the server can reach internal services and transmit clinical data or credentials to attacker-controlled endpoints.
