Authenticated service interruption via bulk deletion
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Resource exhaustion in Elastic Kibana 8.0.0 through 8.19.14 and 9.0.0 through 9.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. Bulk deletion processing accepts a specially crafted request without resource limits or throttling, causing excessive allocation and resource consumption. Any authenticated Kibana account can reach the network request path; successful exploitation can render the interface unavailable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.0.0 <=8.19.14
