Authenticated privilege escalation via admin token minting
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Apache DolphinScheduler before 3.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to mint administrator access tokens. The /access-tokens endpoint accepts a general user's token-creation request for an administrator identity instead of enforcing the caller's role. Any ordinary account can obtain administrator-equivalent API access, including control of protected configuration and resources.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
