Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Stored XSS in Justin Kruit Advanced Custom Fields: Font Awesome Field 5.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Published advisories do not identify the affected parameter or output sink; the plugin changelog only states that additional outputs were sanitized and escaped. Contributor-level access is required, and exploitation also requires another user to view the stored content, causing attacker-controlled script execution in that user's browser.
