Privileged file-download action via forged request
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP Engine WP Migrate Lite 2.7.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger an unwanted file-download action. The file download handler accepts a cross-origin request in a privileged user's authenticated session, but the vendor has not disclosed the exact missing validation check. Exploitation requires that privileged user to visit a crafted page or submit a malicious form; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
