CVE-2026-4901Network attack vector

Credential exposure via unredacted log writes

Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026

Sensitive-data logging in AlanWeb SCADA before 9.8.5 allows remote authenticated users to obtain credentials from application log files. The application writes user credentials into its log file instead of excluding or redacting authentication data. Direct access requires authenticated privileges; when chained with CVE-2026-34184, remote attackers can read the logs without authorization and reuse the exposed credentials for further system access.
