CVE-2026-48987Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated denial of service via retained event clients

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Resource exhaustion in pyLoad before 0.5.0b3.dev101 allows remote authenticated users to crash the service via repeated getEvents requests. EventManager appends a Client for every unique UUID without invoking clean(), retaining inactive clients and growing memory without bound. A valid session or API key is required; exhaustion can trigger an operating-system out-of-memory termination or destabilize other host services.
