CVE-2026-48970Network attack vector

Second-factor bypass via inconsistent 2FA verification

Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026

Authentication bypass in Really Simple Security 9.5.10 and earlier allows remote attackers with a victim's password to bypass 2FA. The 2FA login flow inconsistently verifies the second factor, but the vendor and CNA have not published the affected function or exact validation error. The attacker must first obtain the victim's password; successful exploitation permits actions as that user and can expose administrator access.
