CVE-2026-48939Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked attachment upload

Published Jun 20, 2026 · Updated Jun 20, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in JoomliC iCagenda 1.0.0 through 3.9.14 and 4.0.0 through 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to execute PHP. The public event-submission attachment handler accepts a .php file without extension or MIME validation and writes it beneath /images/icagenda/frontend/attachments in the web root. No authentication or user interaction is required, and requesting the uploaded script executes code with the Joomla site's PHP privileges.
