Authenticated SSRF via unchecked form validation
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
SSRF in Jenkins Project AppSpider Plugin 1.0.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send requests to attacker-chosen URLs. The affected form-validation method passes the supplied AppSpider Enterprise URL to the plugin's API client without first enforcing Overall/Administer permission. Overall/Read access is required; the bounded consequence is a server-side outbound connection, with no reported response disclosure or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
