CVE-2026-48917Network attack vector

Remote code execution via malicious LDAP referrals

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Deserialization in Jenkins LDAP Plugin 807.v7d7de30930cf and earlier allows attackers to execute code through malicious LDAP referrals. The plugin follows a referral from its configured LDAP server to an RMI URL, causing Jenkins to deserialize attacker-controlled data without validation. Exploitation requires control of the configured LDAP server or a machine-in-the-middle position, and code execution depends on a suitable deserialization gadget on the controller classpath.
