Incorrect access control in Joomla! CMS 4.0.0 through 5.4.5 and 6.0.0 through 6.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to install sample data. The sample-data plugins fail to enforce the required authorization check before accepting installation-related actions. A low-privileged account is required, and successful exploitation can change site content by invoking sample-data installation operations.
