Stored XSS via unsanitized rich-answer markup
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Quiz and Survey Master 11.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through rich-answer questions. The rich-answer rendering path accepts attacker-supplied answer markup without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate output escaping, causing stored content to execute in a visitor's browser. No account is required, but a user must view an affected quiz page; script execution occurs in that user's site context and can affect displayed content or session-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
