Unauthenticated file upload via missing type validation
Published May 2, 2026 · Updated May 2, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in WPEverest User Registration Advanced Fields 1.6.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to place files on servers. URAF_AJAX::method_upload accepts Profile Picture submissions without validating the uploaded file type before storage. A registration form must contain the Profile Picture field; if the server executes an uploaded file, the upload enables remote code execution.
