Sandbox bypass via omitted wrapper state
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Sandbox bypass in Twig before 3.27.0 allows remote authenticated users to invoke disallowed string callables through legacy helpers. The twig_array_some() and twig_array_every() wrappers omit the active sandbox flag, so CoreExtension defaults it to false; twig_check_arrow_in_sandbox() passes the Environment where a Boolean is required. Exposure requires a sandboxed Environment and legacy third-party calls to these deprecated helpers; compiled templates use the protected path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
