Unauthenticated Administrator escalation via leaked-token capability write
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Privilege escalation in UKR Solution Barcode Scanner (+Mobile App) 1.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain Administrator access. The plugin decodes a caller-supplied Base64 user ID to select an account, exposes that account's token through barcodeScannerConfigs, and lets setUserMeta write unrestricted keys. No authentication is required; chaining these operations discloses an administrator token and rewrites wp_capabilities, granting full site administration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
