Unauthenticated object overwrite via unbound storage key
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Missing authorization in Typebot before 3.17.0 allows remote attackers to overwrite shared S3 objects through a public upload endpoint. The deprecated handler forwards the caller-controlled filePath unchanged to the S3 presign function, which signs that exact bucket key without binding it to the referenced bot, block, result, or tenant. Exploitation requires identifiers for a public bot and its file-input block and permits creation or replacement of objects in private or cross-tenant namespaces.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
