Clipboard disclosure and replacement via unrestricted OSC 52
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Improper permissions in Warp before 0.2026.05.06.15.42.stable_01 allow remote attackers to read or replace clipboard data via terminal output. The TerminalView OSC 52 handlers returned clipboard contents to the PTY and wrote supplied contents without checking an access policy. Exploitation requires a user to display attacker-controlled output; the result is limited to disclosing current clipboard data or replacing it with attacker-selected text.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 0.2021.04.25.23.05.stable_00, < v0.2026.05.13.09.15.stable_01

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
