CVE-2026-48721

Denylisted command autoexecution via uncanonicalized environment prefixes

Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026

Command execution permission-check bypass in Warp allows context-dependent attackers to run denylisted shell commands without confirmation. The BlocklistAIPermissions denylist path evaluated raw subcommands before stripping leading environment-variable assignments, so a prefix such as X=1 hid a blocked base command. Exploitation requires the victim to run the default unsandboxed CLI agent on attacker-controlled or prompt-injectable context, and commands execute with the victim user's local shell authority.
