Code injection in WebPros Plesk before 18.0.78 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files as root through the XML API. The API accepts user-controlled configuration directives without adequate authorization and applies them in a privileged server context. Any authenticated Plesk account that can reach the XML API can obtain full control of the host through the resulting root-level file write.
