Object creation via Debug UI authorization bypass
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Incorrect authorization in IdentityIQ 8.4 through 8.4p3 and 8.5 through 8.5p1 allows remote authenticated users to create objects via Debug UI. The Debug Object Browser fails to enforce its view-only restriction and permits creation of new IdentityIQ objects instead of limiting users to inspection. The gate is possession of Debug Pages Read Only or a custom capability containing ViewAccessDebugPage SPRight; SailPoint does not identify the object types or downstream effects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.4 <8.4p4
